The kitchen island needed to function as both a practical work surface and a visual centerpiece within the residence.
When the stone, cabinet structure and lighting are handled separately, dimensional coordination, uneven illumination, dark areas and future lighting maintenance can become difficult.
QILISTONE Solution
The backlight layout was adjusted according to the translucency of the selected natural stone, with a Light Diffusion Layer incorporated to improve lighting uniformity.
The cabinet structure, natural stone countertop, side panels, wiring and basic lighting tests were completed in the factory.
The finished system was then divided into modules according to transportation and site installation requirements.

Factory integration reduces overseas installation and lighting-adjustment work, while the serviceable lighting design provides a clearer path for future maintenance.
